CLP-59 June's Sketch challenge

Hi everyone!  I can't believe June is already here, where did the time go?  Well, since it's the beginning of the month, I wanted to share my card for the new challenge over at the CLP Sketch challenge blog.   I hope you'll be able to join us this month.  My fellow teammates have some gorgeous card to showcase as well, please visit the blog to see their amazingly gorgeous work.  Here is the Sketch for the month of June.

and below is my take on the Sketch ...
I love to layer lace and ribbon to make them fuller and more unique.  The pleated ribbon was pretty easy to make (if you have the pleating foot for your sewing machine).  I tore strips of white muslin, tea dyed it and ran it through the machine and there you have it ... beautifully made pleated ribbon.
I will make fabric/paper flowers every chance I get.  I find it makes my card different and unique.  It's always fun to make them, and I hope to be doing more tutorial on them too.

I was crunching for time so I grabbed a bunch of my handmade flowers and use them as the focal point instead of a cute image.  :(  I hope you still like it.  Thanks so much for visiting today, I hope you have a great weekend!  Please don't forget to join the fun this month!  Take care and I'll see you shortly.

Much Love,
Chelsea

Seam binding ribbon, Spellbinder dies, K&CO. "Precious" sticker ...

Paper clay cherub with a bit of sparkles with Stickles ...

CLP-57 Challenge - Flower Soft - Spring Card

Hi there! Today is the 1st. of April and that means there is a new challenge to play with over at my challenge blog. You will be blown away with the amazing and oh-so-gorgeous creation from my fellow team members. Please make sure to stop by and prepare to be inspired! I would love to see you join us with your take on the this Sketch ...

For my card, I've decided to not color an image but to make a 3D flower pot full of beautiful Spring blooms. What do you think?

I found this adorable little tin bucket at the local craft store and couldn't walk pass it! Once home, I used my dremel to give it a nice clean cut. Spray painted the tin to an antique white and added a piece of paper clay embellishment ...

These roses are from Prima and the pale blue and lilac stems are made with Flower Soft ...

I used my metal stamps to stamp "Spring" on these cute tiny metal charms ...

I like to add these glass pebbles to everything!!!

Another paper clay embellishment ...

I can't wait to see your project for this CLP Sketch challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll see you soon, til next time ...
Much Love,

Chelsea

Happy Easter - Easter Project

Happy Good Friday everyone! I haven't been around blog land, but I have been crafting like crazy ... well more like making flowers. It's so satisfying to see the final product. I'm going to share some of those flowers and my Easter project with you today. I hope they are pretty enough to make you smile :)

I wanted to decorate 12 eggs to fill up the egg carton... but I didn't want you to think I've lost it! So I went with three and fill the rest up with tiny forget-me-not, lily of the valley, calla lilies and shredded old papers ....

You can't see the image from the glass pebbles, but it's of two cute cherubs holding an Easter egg. Lots of lace on this egg along with seam binding flower, fabric and clay flowers and a bit of baby's breaths ...

The light pink flower is from the tissue flower tutorial I had made a while back. Some more seam binding ribbon, lace and pretty beaded stamens ...

Do you see the cute little angel on the top corner? It's made from air dry clay and I just love love love it! I added a tiny fence in front of the glass pebbles, a few feathers and some moss ...

Although it took some time to make, these Lily of the Valley are the centerpiece of these flowers ...

Pretty pastel Easter color on these Forget-me-not are the perfect finishing touch ...

I wish you a wonderful Easter weekend and Thank You for visiting my blog today!!! I'll see you soon, til next time ...

with Love,

Chelsea
